Ivo Araújo's late challenge caught a Muleque de Vila's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivo Araújo helped the player get up and apologised. Cícero Pirani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Róbson Teles got free with Cícero Pirani in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudinho Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Muleque de Vila players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
