An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Neiva in the 5th minute of play forced Canoa SS's goalkeeper Nelson Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Canoa SS's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Neiva came free, but Nelson Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonardo Araújo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 18 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Jacata EC's Alfredo Neiva fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Nelson Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. If Wellington Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfredo Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Costa having to interfere. Nelson Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Neiva's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Nelson Costa came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Jacata EC's Alfredo Neiva. But to his dismay, Alfredo Neiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Sidnei do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Costa having to interfere. Sidnei do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sidnei do Vale in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelson Costa saved Canoa SS from getting behind. Nelson Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidnei do Vale in the 43rd minute of play. Umberto de Mendonça didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 48th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Nelson Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovanni Torres in the 54th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Jacata EC's Sidnei do Vale nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nelson Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Sidnei do Vale got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Jacata EC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Sidnei do Vale hit a great ball. Alfredo Neiva was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. Jacata EC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Sidnei do Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gernando Tavares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Umberto de Mendonça having to make a save. Sidnei do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Umberto de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Prado in the 84th minute of the match. Nelson Costa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sidnei do Vale in the 85th minute. Alfredo Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Nelson Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 98 minutes into the game, Geovanni Torres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jacata EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canoa SS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Jacata EC's Geovanni Torres got a free kick in the 99th minute.
