An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Miranda in the 13th minute of play forced OFF's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Mattos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hortêncio Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in OFF's zone, Lenílson Tinoco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Eduardo Mattos came out of the goal and Lenílson Tinoco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nildo Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Tostão Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. OFF's supporters rose to their feet, but Tostão Ramalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Mineiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lenílson Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th match minute, OFF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hortêncio Diniz to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute of the match Josué Soeiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Eduardo Mattos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tostão Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedrinho Miranda to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind OFF's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Mattos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Quaracu AD's Pedrinho Miranda in the 54th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Luiz Eduardo Mattos was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for OFF through an amazing save. 60 minutes into the game, Pedrinho Miranda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quaracu AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OFF the free kick. In the 60th match minute, Quaracu AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrinho Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Pedrinho Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Eduardo Mattos having to interfere. OFF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Pedrinho Miranda scored to the left of an out of position Luiz Eduardo Mattos, making the score, 0-1. A collision led to Quaracu AD getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Lenílson Tinoco hit a great ball. Daniel Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After 77th play minutes Pedrinho Miranda shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Luiz Eduardo Mattos and just under the crossbar into goal. Pedrinho Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Luiz Eduardo Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orlando Lira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Luiz Eduardo Mattos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 85 minutes into the match, Quaracu AD's Orlando Lira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Eduardo Mattos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedrinho Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. OFF's Luiz Eduardo Mattos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save OFF from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute Pedrinho Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Eduardo Mattos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Lira came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Luiz Eduardo Mattos could save by the left post. Quaracu AD's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
