Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ademir Vergílio took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcel Paraíba during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Andercta FC booed when Quaracu AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Quaracu AD's Josué Soeiro got a free kick in the 14th minute. Sílvio Luís Fernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ademir Vergílio in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Mineiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarbas de Carvalho in the 21st minute of play forced Quaracu AD's goalkeeper Bernardo Mineiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Beto Tinoco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quaracu AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Andercta FC the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, Quaracu AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. Lenílson Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 42ndth minute of the game Ademir Vergílio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quaracu AD's Bernardo Mineiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Ademir Vergílio put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bernardo Mineiro. After the first half Andercta FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedrinho Miranda to make the kick off. Ademir Vergílio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 52nd minute. Andercta FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Kléber Paranaense struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Bernardo Mineiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Andercta FC. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ademir Vergílio sped through Quaracu AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernardo Mineiro. Ademir Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Mineiro having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Quaracu AD's goalkeeper Bernardo Mineiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ademir Vergílio. If Orlando Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Ademir Vergílio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Mineiro was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Emílio Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrinho Miranda in the 75th minute of the match. Bernardo Mineiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luan Dantas in the 79th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Quaracu AD's goal looked a bit too open when Ademir Vergílio came free, but Bernardo Mineiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ademir Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Quaracu AD's zone, Luan Dantas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Mineiro came out of the goal and Luan Dantas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
