Bernardo Mineiro was a little too slow when Jeferson Moura got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 27th minute, Pedrinho Miranda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quaracu AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Ladario's Reinaldo Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Lira in the 33rd minute of play. Reinaldo Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrinho Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 39thth minute of the game Pedrinho Miranda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ladario's Reinaldo Ferreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 41 minutes, Orlando Lira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quaracu AD and the Ladario players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ladario booed when Quaracu AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Lira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Mineiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeferson Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Quaracu AD's Pedrinho Miranda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reinaldo Ferreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Beto Tinoco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Reinaldo Ferreira made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Ladario's Téo Paraibano got a free kick in the 60th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedrinho Miranda in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reinaldo Ferreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 64 minutes, Jeferson Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ladario's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeferson Moura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Orlando Lira came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Quaracu AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Lira couldn't finish the play. If Orlando Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Pedrinho Miranda fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Reinaldo Ferreira, passed just outside the right post. In the 81st minute, Quaracu AD's Pedrinho Miranda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Reinaldo Ferreira. Reinaldo Ferreira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Orlando Lira struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Reinaldo Ferreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quaracu AD. In the 90th minute, Orlando Lira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Quaracu AD's Pedrinho Miranda in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ladario's goalie prevented a goal. 93 minutes into the game, Quaracu AD's Orlando Lira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reinaldo Ferreira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Pedrinho Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The Ladario supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Quaracu AD's performance. The match ended with a win for Quaracu AD.
