After a defensive mix-up in Zimbros AD's zone, Jarbas de Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeu Oliveira came out of the goal and Jarbas de Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeu Mangueira during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zimbros AD's Amadeu Mangueira got a free kick in the 13th minute. If Ademir Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, Andercta FC's Jarbas de Carvalho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romeu Oliveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Romeu Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ademir Vergílio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rdth minute of the game Ademir Vergílio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zimbros AD's Romeu Oliveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute, Adrianinho Neiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romeu Oliveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Romeu Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrianinho Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Zimbros AD's Romeu Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarbas de Carvalho in the 31st minute of play. When Adrianinho Neiva came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Andercta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrianinho Neiva couldn't finish the play. Ademir Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Oliveira having to interfere. Romeu Oliveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ademir Vergílio's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. After the first half Andercta FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. William de Godoi was the one to do the kick off. After 64 played minutes Andercta FC got a freekick which was hit by Hamílton da Silveira. 66 minutes into the match, Ademir Vergílio notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Zimbros AD's Romeu Oliveira. Romeu Oliveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ademir Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
