Romeu Oliveira came out of the goal and Sandrinho Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Muleque de Vila's Walmir de Alcântara was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 5th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a little luck, Zimbros AD's Romeu Oliveira got control of the ball when Walmir de Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sandrinho Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Romeu Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateus Loyola kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Romeu Oliveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walmir de Alcântara in the 28th minute. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Walmir de Alcântara took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Romeu Oliveira to make any attempt to save it. After 37 minutes Zimbros AD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amauri Castro who took care of the corner kick. Muleque de Vila's Amauri Castro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Romeu Oliveira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 43 minutes, Walmir de Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muleque de Vila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walmir de Alcântara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Breno Montenegro charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Breno Montenegro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Walmir de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Romeu Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sandrinho Rocha made the kick off in the second half. Walmir de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Romeu Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Walmir de Alcântara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romeu Oliveira was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. If William de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Zimbros AD booed when Muleque de Vila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elivélton Linhares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cícero Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William de Godoi in the 80th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Muleque de Vila's goalkeeper Cícero Pirani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas de Andrade. Sandrinho Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Oliveira having to interfere. Cícero Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William de Godoi in the 92nd minute of play. If Lucas de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zimbros AD's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
