Spectators: 7312 (Terracing: 5485, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alfredo Neiva kicked off to start the match. Umberto de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrinho Miranda in the 5th minute of the match. A collision led to Jacata EC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Leopoldo Seco hit a great ball. Jerônimo Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Quaracu AD's Deivid Dantas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Sidnei do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Bernardo Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute Orlando Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alfredo Neiva came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Jacata EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Neiva couldn't finish the play. Umberto de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrinho Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Miranda in the 37th minute of play forced Jacata EC's goalkeeper Umberto de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedrinho Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umberto de Mendonça having to interfere. If Sidnei do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 43rd minute, Quaracu AD's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sidnei do Vale fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Orlando Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedrinho Miranda to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Jacata EC's Alfredo Neiva made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardo Mineiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sidnei do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Bernardo Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lenílson Tinoco fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quaracu AD's protests and gave Lenílson Tinoco a yellow card for diving instead. Lenílson Tinoco hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Orlando Lira sped through Jacata EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Umberto de Mendonça. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Quaracu AD's goalkeeper Bernardo Mineiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bernardo Mineiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Neiva in the 74th minute of play. Umberto de Mendonça made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Lira in the 77th minute. Bernardo Mineiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sidnei do Vale's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. If Orlando Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the game, Pedrinho Miranda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Umberto de Mendonça. Pedrinho Miranda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Pedrinho Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umberto de Mendonça having to interfere. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jacata EC's goalkeeper Umberto de Mendonça, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Quaracu AD walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
