When Caturama Esporte Clube's Júlio Brodel in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lombas FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luís Coelho in the 10th minute of play forced Caturama Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Filipe Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Carlos Vargas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Elivélton de Barros made a huge save. Pedro Luís Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Gomes having to interfere. Filipe Gomes came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Lombas FC's Pedro Luís Coelho. But to his dismay, Pedro Luís Coelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 26th minute Júlio Brodel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elivélton de Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Carlos Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Lombas FC's Rodriguinho Alcântara got a free kick in the 36th minute. Caturama Esporte Clube's Giuseppe Lucas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 37th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Elivélton de Barros but with some difficulty. The crowd rose to their feet as Júlio Brodel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elivélton de Barros. That made the score 1-1 in the 38 minute of play. Lombas FC's Elivélton de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Brodel in the 42nd minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Caturama Esporte Clube fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Lombas FC a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Basílio do Vale, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Caturama Esporte Clube's Filipe Gomes. 1-2. After the first half Lombas FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Júlio Brodel to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Caturama Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enio de Sousa to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute of the match Robinho Rossi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elivélton de Barros skillfully saved the ball. Kaká Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Gomes having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Carlos Vargas in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elivélton de Barros saved Lombas FC from getting behind. 66 minutes into the match, Kaká Marquez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Filipe Gomes, 1-3. Júlio Brodel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Júlio Brodel in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elivélton de Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elivélton de Barros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Carlos Vargas's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anderson Zanette during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anderson Zanette hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Rodriguinho Alcântara hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Júlio Brodel sped through Lombas FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elivélton de Barros. In the 82nd match minute, Caturama Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giuseppe Lucas to maneuver through the defense. Filipe Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Marquez in the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th match minute, Lombas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodriguinho Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Júlio Brodel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elivélton de Barros having to make a save. João Carlos Vargas hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When Caturama Esporte Clube's João Carlos Vargas in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Elivélton de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Brodel in the 99th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lombas FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
