G3nerationX's Armando Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. G3nerationX's Eugênio Arruda got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Luís Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elivélton de Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lombas FC's Elivélton de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico Guimarães in the 38th minute of play. Armando Andrade struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Elivélton de Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for G3nerationX. If Armando Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Eugênio Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half G3nerationX were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kaká Marquez to strike the kick off in the second half. Kaká Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Pirani having to interfere. Franklin Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Marquez in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Frederico Guimarães fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 67 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Salgado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lombas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave G3nerationX the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lombas FC's Arnaldo Salgado got a free kick in the 67th minute. Basílio do Vale charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basílio do Vale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of G3nerationX booed when Lombas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio do Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugênio Arruda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elivélton de Barros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Armando Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnaldo Salgado was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. If Frederico Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Lombas FC's goalkeeper Elivélton de Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Andrade. Armando Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Lombas FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. G3nerationX were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
