Maicon Dante's late challenge caught a Repushow F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maicon Dante helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th match minute, Mata Linda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maicon Dante to maneuver through the defense. If José de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21stth minute of the game José de Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mata Linda's Otávio Moraes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute, Repushow F.C.'s José de Souza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Otávio Moraes. Otávio Moraes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A collision led to Repushow F.C. getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Fernandão Carioca hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Mata Linda's Hermínio Urbano broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. In the 48th minute, Sílvio Brodel made a precise shot to the right of Valdemar Lopez. Repushow F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José de Souza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd match minute, Mata Linda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Téo Branco to maneuver through the defense. Oséas Quintal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Otávio Moraes. Mata Linda's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Repushow F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Geovani Guedes 65 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Valdir Fontes was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Valdir Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Geovani Guedes struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Valdemar Lopez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mata Linda. In the 71st minute, Sílvio Brodel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute Vinícius Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Repushow F.C.'s Valdemar Lopez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Repushow F.C. from getting a goal against them. 83 minutes into the game, Repushow F.C.'s Vinícius Martins nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Otávio Moraes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Vinícius Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Repushow F.C. booed when Mata Linda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 96 minutes, Vinícius Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Repushow F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinícius Martins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mata Linda had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
