Richard Maia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute, Didi de Toledo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, CA Bandeirantes's Adriano Sarmento got a free kick in the 13th minute. If Didi de Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 16th minute, Didi de Toledo made a precise shot to the right of Rodrigo de Salles. CA Bandeirantes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Vazamor SS's Telmo Viana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Vazamor SS from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the game, Mathias Catarinense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vazamor SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CA Bandeirantes the free kick. After a rather tough play, Vazamor SS's Mathias Catarinense got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 39th minute, Zé Augusto Barreto fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Didi de Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo de Salles having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After a rather tough play, CA Bandeirantes's Benê Netto got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute, Paulo José Ferreira sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CA Bandeirantes's Rodrigo de Salles didn't even have to move. Lenílson Sena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodrigo de Salles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of CA Bandeirantes booed when Vazamor SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi de Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Zé Augusto Barreto made a precise shot to the right of Telmo Viana. Vazamor SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 62 played minutes Vazamor SS got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Catarinense. Zé Augusto Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. When Percival Alvarenga came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the CA Bandeirantes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Percival Alvarenga couldn't finish the play. CA Bandeirantes's Rodrigo de Salles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save CA Bandeirantes from getting a goal against them. After 80 minutes of play, Vazamor SS's Lenílson Sena made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo de Salles was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Lenílson Sena got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in CA Bandeirantes's zone, Didi de Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo de Salles came out of the goal and Didi de Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the game, Lenílson Sena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Rodrigo de Salles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Vazamor SS's Richard Maia got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, Percival Alvarenga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CA Bandeirantes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Vazamor SS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
