Geovanni Soeiro came out of the goal and Cássio Veloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Sandrinho Bittencourt came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the CF Black Mamba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandrinho Bittencourt couldn't finish the play. Sandrinho Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Geovanni Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Veloso in the 26th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 29 minutes into the game, when Falcão Paraibano put in a rough tackle. In the 32nd match minute, CF Black Mamba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Furtado to maneuver through the defense. Filipe de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Cássio Velosos short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Geovanni Soeiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Aírton Teles fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CF Black Mamba's protests and gave Aírton Teles a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Leandronses booed when CF Black Mamba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aírton Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agnaldo Barros took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filipe de Godoi. Filipe de Godoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 87 minutes into the match, Cássio Veloso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geovanni Soeiro. Leandronses's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cássio Veloso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After having played for 91 minutes, Cássio Veloso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CF Black Mamba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cássio Veloso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Igor Camargo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Igor Camargo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CF Black Mamba were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
