Davi Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Telmo Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gildo Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lenílson Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Sandro Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in BrotherHood United's zone, Lenílson Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandro Hoffmann came out of the goal and Lenílson Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Lenílson Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 minutes, Mathias Catarinense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vazamor SS and the BrotherHood United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lenílson Sena came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sandro Hoffmann could save by the left post. If Didi de Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Falcão Sergipano kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Paulo José Ferreira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Célio Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Vazamor SS fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Vazamor SS's Lenílson Sena looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vazamor SS's Telmo Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gildo Fernandez in the 41st minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Vazamor SS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BrotherHood United:s goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Célio Bittencourt to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Célio Bittencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot. BrotherHood United's supporters rose to their feet, but Célio Bittencourt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Telmo Viana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sandro Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lenílson Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After having played for 56 minutes, Gildo Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BrotherHood United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gildo Fernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Célio Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Viana having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Vazamor SS's Cido Leite sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sandro Hoffmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. BrotherHood United's Sandro Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenílson Sena in the 63rd minute of play. Lenílson Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Sandro Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 played minutes BrotherHood United got a freekick which was hit by Falcão Sergipano. Gildo Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Viana having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Lenílson Sena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Lenílson Sena fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vazamor SS's protests and gave Lenílson Sena a yellow card for diving instead. Lenílson Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Sandro Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Lenílson Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vazamor SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Lenílson Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandro Hoffmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lenílson Sena took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sandro Hoffmann. Sandro Hoffmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Lenílson Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Hoffmann having to interfere. Lenílson Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the BrotherHood United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vazamor SS.
