In the 12th minute, Percival Alvarenga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardinho de Sousa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Percival Alvarenga went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleiton Quintal in the 17th minute of play forced CA Bandeirantes's goalkeeper Rodrigo de Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Cleiton Quintal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo de Salles was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 25thth minute of the game Cleiton Quintal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CA Bandeirantes's Rodrigo de Salles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Rodrigo de Salles managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when City FOZ's Cleiton Quintal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 34 minutes into the match, Cleiton Quintal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo de Salles. CA Bandeirantes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cleiton Quintal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 38 minutes into the match, CA Bandeirantes's goalkeeper Rodrigo de Salles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrianinho Vinhas. 43 minutes into the match, CA Bandeirantes's goal looked a bit too open when Cleiton Quintal came free, but Rodrigo de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Adriano Sarmento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CA Bandeirantes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave City FOZ the free kick. The supporters of City FOZ booed when CA Bandeirantes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Sarmento didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cleiton Quintal to strike the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo de Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Breckenfeld in the 55th minute of the match. Rodrigo de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleiton Quintal in the 56th minute of play. CA Bandeirantes's Rodrigo de Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Vergílio in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, CA Bandeirantes's goal looked a bit too open when Fabinho Barral came free, but Rodrigo de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Augusto Barreto got free with Ricardinho de Sousa in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
