Percival Alvarenga started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Percival Alvarenga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7thth minute of the game Percival Alvarenga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BrotherHood United's Sandro Hoffmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When CA Bandeirantes's Zé Augusto Barreto in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BrotherHood United's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Percival Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot. CA Bandeirantes's supporters rose to their feet, but Percival Alvarenga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandro Hoffmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, BrotherHood United's Falcão Sergipano got a free kick in the 20th minute. Fábio Xavier, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Percival Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Hoffmann having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Gildo Fernandez made a precise shot to the right of Rodrigo de Salles. CA Bandeirantes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Gildo Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46thth minute of the game Célio Bittencourt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CA Bandeirantes's Rodrigo de Salles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sandro Hoffmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Augusto Barreto in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Célio Bittencourt made a kick off. Célio Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo de Salles having to interfere. Gildo Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Augusto Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Sandro Hoffmann made a huge save. Gildo Fernandez took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo de Salles. Rodrigo de Salles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 71st minute Célio Bittencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Percival Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, CA Bandeirantes's Percival Alvarenga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Rodrigo de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Célio Bittencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildo Fernandez in the 88th minute of play forced CA Bandeirantes's goalkeeper Rodrigo de Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Augusto Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodrigo de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Célio Bittencourt in the 95th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CA Bandeirantes's Edgard Nóbrega got a free kick in the 98th minute. BrotherHood United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
