Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) With a little luck, LiverFla's Horácio da Mata got control of the ball when Jardel Esteves tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 9 minutes, Jardel Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kapiting's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jardel Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michel Corrêa's late challenge caught a Kapiting's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michel Corrêa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th match minute, LiverFla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, Carlinhos Mesquita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jailson Santana was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, LiverFla's goalkeeper Horácio da Mata had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandre Teixeira. 27 minutes into the match, LiverFla's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Mandrak came free, but Horácio da Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Jardel Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kapiting's supporters rose to their feet, but Jardel Esteves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horácio da Mata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Teixeira got free with Horácio da Mata in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isaltino Pontes's late challenge caught a Kapiting's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaltino Pontes helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, LiverFla's Isaltino Pontes got a free kick in the 31st minute. Alexandre Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Horácio da Mata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jardel Esteves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, LiverFla's goalkeeper Horácio da Mata had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandre Teixeira. LiverFla's Horácio da Mata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jardel Esteves in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to LiverFla getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Isaltino Pontes hit a great ball. Jardel Esteves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. LiverFla's defense didn't have a chance, in the 49th minute, when Jardel Esteves scored to the left of an out of position Horácio da Mata, making the score, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Carlinhos Mesquita was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 58th minute. LiverFla's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 60 minutes into the match, LiverFla's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Esteves came free, but Horácio da Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horácio da Mata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandre Teixeira's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Jailson Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Brito in the 64th minute of play. Válbson Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Marco Brito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jailson Santana was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. In the 82nd match minute, LiverFla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaltino Pontes to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, LiverFla's Luís Fernando Gaúcho got a free kick in the 87th minute. Horácio da Mata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jardel Esteves in the 88th minute of the match. Carlinhos Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jailson Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Kapiting getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Gabriel Severo hit a great ball. Carlinhos Mesquita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Jailson Santana made a huge save. If Jardel Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
