Luan Egers short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Maicon Severo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Davi Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maicon Severo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luan Eger in the 28th minute of the match. Luan Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maicon Severo having to interfere. Davi Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maicon Severo having to interfere. A collision led to CR Atlétas de Cristo getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Filipe Pombal hit a great ball. Hernani Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Régis Alves hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 46 minutes Assiz SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Germano Gomes who took care of the corner kick. CR Atlétas de Cristo's Germano Gomes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maicon Severo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luan Eger made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Davi Mangueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maicon Severo was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Hernani Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Wilton de Mendonça made a huge save. Zé Pontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilton de Mendonça having to interfere. Luiz Guilherme Cearense hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Zé Pontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Assiz SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Pontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilton de Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in CR Atlétas de Cristo's zone, Zé Pontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilton de Mendonça came out of the goal and Zé Pontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filipe Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Maicon Severo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The CR Atlétas de Cristo fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when CR Atlétas de Cristo's Luan Eger looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luan Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maicon Severo having to interfere. Hernani Amaral scored 1-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilton de Mendonça, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luan Eger in the 97th minute of play forced Assiz SC's goalkeeper Maicon Severo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Assiz SC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented CR Atlétas de Cristo from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
