Spectators: 7267 (Terracing: 5452, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 144) Alfredinho Pena made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Alfredinho Pena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adriano Dionísio during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes Campinho got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Dionísio. The Cambuci FC fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Cambuci FC's Júnior Amorim looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 18 minutes of play, Cambuci FC's Dedê Souto made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elivélton de Souza was left in no man's land by his defense there! It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 21st minute, but Elivélton de Souza got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Campinho hanging dry this time. 23 minutes into the match, Campinho's goalkeeper Elivélton de Souza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Júnior Amorim. Elivélton de Souza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júnior Amorim's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Adriano Dionísio was shown his second yellow card after 26 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Adriano Dionísio hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute of the match Jeremias Rosado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elivélton de Souza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alfredinho Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Júnior Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elivélton de Souza having to interfere. Júnior Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Elivélton de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elivélton de Souza made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Dedê Souto sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute, Filipe Prestes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elivélton de Souza. The goal made the score 4-0. Alfredinho Pena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 5-0 became the score in the 45th minute when Dedê Souto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Júnior Amorim was the one to do the kick off. Elivélton de Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júnior Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Júnior Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elivélton de Souza having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Frank Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Cambuci FC's goalkeeper Augusto Sanches had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredinho Pena. If Filipe Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 played minutes Campinho got a freekick which was hit by Alfredinho Pena. Augusto Sanches was a little too slow when Alfredinho Pena got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 6-1. In the 82nd minute, Alfredinho Pena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Augusto Sanches was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. 86 minutes into the match, Dedê Souto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elivélton de Souza. Campinho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dedê Souto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-2. 89 minutes into the game, Dedê Souto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-2. Elivélton de Souza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Elivélton de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júnior Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Campinho's Alfredinho Pena got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cambuci FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Campinho had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
