The supporters of Cambuci FC booed when Maiquinique EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho de Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maiquinique EC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Júnior Amorim 43 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Júnior Amorim in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kiko de Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kiko de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedê Souto in the 54th minute of the match. Maiquinique EC's Kiko de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júnior Amorim in the 56th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Maiquinique EC's zone, Jeremias Rosado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kiko de Almeida came out of the goal and Jeremias Rosado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute, Guilherme Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cambuci FC's Júnior Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mathias Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Júnior Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Cambuci FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júnior Amorim couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Júnior Amorim in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kiko de Almeida saved Maiquinique EC from getting behind. The Cambuci FC fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Cambuci FC's Júnior Amorim looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kiko de Almeida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júnior Amorim's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. The audience was convinced that Júnior Amorim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kiko de Almeida was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. In the 94th minute Júnior Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiko de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Cambuci FC were the better team. Cambuci FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
