Gil Madureira really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Erik Lucas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kiko Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Kiko Saldanha made a precise shot to the right of Erik Lucas. Leyliño's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Jijoca SC's Kiko Saldanha got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgar Dubilas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonardo Donato was the one to do the kick off. Erik Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kiko Saldanha in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute Lúcio Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szymon Prusinowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Dubilas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Erik Lucas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kiko Saldanha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Leonardo Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the game, one of Leyliño:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Donato in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erik Lucas saved Leyliño from getting behind. Edgar Dubilas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Lucas made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Edgar Dubilas sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Leyliño's Lúcio Cordeiro got a free kick in the 85th minute. Leyliño's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kiko Saldanha 91 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Donato in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erik Lucas saved Leyliño from getting behind. Leonardo Donatos short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Erik Lucas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alexsandro Vander hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match.
