Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Márcio Galvão got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Márcio Galvão in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yan Faria saved Terezinha AD from getting behind. After 12 played minutes Merson Concursos FC got a freekick which was hit by Célio Tasso. When Tomé Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Terezinha AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomé Duarte couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute Tomé Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomé Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yan Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márcio Galvão, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Tomé Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ciro Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Délio Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tomé Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Tomé Duarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciro Nogueira was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Terezinha AD's Benjamin Xavier shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 38th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ciro Nogueira but with some difficulty. In the 41st minute, Tomé Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yan Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Baptista in the 44th minute of the match. Vicente Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Yan Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomé Duarte to make the kick off. Ciro Nogueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tostão Galvão in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Márcio Galvão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomé Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Nogueira having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Tostão Galvão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 84 minutes, Tomé Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Terezinha AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomé Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Tomé Duarte notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Merson Concursos FC's Ciro Nogueira. Ciro Nogueira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Terezinha AD getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Tomé Duarte hit a great ball. Terezinha AD walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
