Cristóvão Guedes started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Valladares during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to União Cedrense FSCMZ getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. José Valladares hit a great ball. Rubens Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Erik Lucas made a huge save. Rubens Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erasmo Lopes in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Delfim Monteiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rubens Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Lucas having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Telmo Matos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the União Cedrense FSCMZ and the Leyliño players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Telmo Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delfim Monteiro came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Leyliño's Erasmo Lopes. But to his dismay, Erasmo Lopes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 30th minute Luiz Fernando Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Leyliño's goal looked a bit too open when José Valladares came free, but Erik Lucas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute of the match, Luiz Fernando Meira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erik Lucas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 36th minute, José Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erik Lucas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fernando Meira's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Rubens Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Erik Lucas made a huge save. In the 48th minute Luiz Fernando Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Luiz Fernando Meira made the kick off in the second half. Lúcio Cordeiro hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the game, Alexsandro Vander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leyliño's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave União Cedrense FSCMZ the free kick. In the 57th match minute, Leyliño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexsandro Vander to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Fernando Meira in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erik Lucas saved Leyliño from getting behind. 63 minutes into the match, Lúcio Cordeiro notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of União Cedrense FSCMZ's Delfim Monteiro. Delfim Monteiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rubens Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Lucas having to interfere. Erik Lucas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fernando Meira in the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Cristóvão Guedes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leyliño's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave União Cedrense FSCMZ the free kick. If Rubens Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Rubens Santos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erik Lucas was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 78th minute Telmo Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Rubens Santos notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Leyliño's Erik Lucas. Erik Lucas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fernando Meira, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Luiz Fernando Meira took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erik Lucas. Erik Lucas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Telmo Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Lucas having to interfere. Erik Lucas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubens Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Leyliño players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented União Cedrense FSCMZ from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
