Cristiano Sena ran back to his position shaking his head. After 27 minutes of play, Mulambo's Gernando Soeiro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yan Faria was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yan Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Sena in the 32nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tostão Galvão got free with Amadeu Magalhães in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 36 minutes, Reinaldo Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mulambo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinaldo Ortiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Tostão Galvão came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Terezinha AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tostão Galvão couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute Cristiano Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomé Duarte was the one to do the kick off. Pedro Paulo Lucas tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Amadeu Magalhães. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-2 in the 52nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomé Duarte in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeu Magalhães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Terezinha AD's Yan Faria got control of the ball when Cristiano Sena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristiano Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Paranaense's late challenge caught a Terezinha AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Paranaense helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mulambo getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Luís Paranaense hit a great ball. If Reinaldo Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeu Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tostão Galvão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mulambo's Amadeu Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tostão Galvão in the 79th minute of play. Reinaldo Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Faria having to interfere. Yan Faria was a little too slow when Cristiano Sena got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 89th minute, Tostão Galvão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Terezinha AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 93rd play minute Cristiano Sena came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Yan Faria. 2-4. In the 96th match minute, Mulambo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Matos to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Mulambo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Terezinha AD throughout the match.
