Cristiano Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amadeu Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Valladares in the 18th minute of the match. Celso Paranaense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaldo Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. A collision led to Ondina EC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Hermínio Hermes hit a great ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Cristiano Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mulambo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Sena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reinaldo Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Reinaldo Ortiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celso Paranaense was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Inácio Valladares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ondina EC's goalkeeper Celso Paranaense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Ondina EC booed when Mulambo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gernando Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Mulambo's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Valladares came free, but Amadeu Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reinaldo Ortiz made a kick off. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Ondina EC's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo Ortiz came free, but Celso Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristiano Sena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celso Paranaense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Cristiano Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Celso Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Ondina EC's goalkeeper Celso Paranaense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristiano Sena. When Mulambo's Cristiano Sena in 72 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Celso Paranaense guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. A collision led to Ondina EC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Hermínio Hermes hit a great ball. If Reinaldo Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celso Paranaense stood somewhat misplaced when Cristiano Sena came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 86 minute. When Reinaldo Ortiz came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Mulambo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reinaldo Ortiz couldn't finish the play.
