After having played for 15 minutes, Wanderson Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espinosa AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wanderson Loureiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Valdo Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espinosa AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdo Mangueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chico Motta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Clube Esportivo Pacheco getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ronaldão Azevedo hit a great ball. Breno Linares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Chico Motta. Clube Esportivo Pacheco's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Espinosa AD's Valdo Mangueira in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ronaldão Azevedo thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Chico Motta, a very annoying self made goal in the 43rd minute which led to 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Germano Custódio made a kick off. Wilian Hermes charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilian Hermes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Enéas Prata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arlindo Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Enéas Prata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arlindo Arce in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute Germano Custódio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Espinosa AD's Angelo Eger got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 61st minute, Germano Custódio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 64 played minutes, Clube Esportivo Pacheco's Reinaldo Neto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Enéas Prata came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Clube Esportivo Pacheco reached it. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Germano Custódio put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Enéas Prata. Espinosa AD's Wanderson Loureiro got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chico Motta made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Valdo Mangueira sent off a good shot on target. In the 78th match minute, Espinosa AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Eger to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wanderson Loureiro in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chico Motta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th minute, Clube Esportivo Pacheco's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Valdo Mangueira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Valdo Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Valdo Mangueira sped through Clube Esportivo Pacheco's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Chico Motta.
