Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cesinha Urbano started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Sem Saída FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Fontes to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, Cléberson Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sem Saída FC's Cesinha Urbano suffered a sore foot after 8 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Tomé Baptista fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uirapuru's protests and gave Tomé Baptista a yellow card for diving instead. Tomé Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Cristóvão Aparecido in the 14th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sem Saída FC's Nilson Leite. Vivaldo Aparecido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Arthur de Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A throw-in in the 20th minute of the game was made by Cléberson Sergipano with Hudson Machado as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 21st minute, Vivaldo Aparecido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uirapuru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 26th minute Vivaldo Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Branco got free with Arthur de Azevedo in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arthur de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo Aparecido in the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Sem Saída FC's goalkeeper Arthur de Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilberto Branco. The crowd rose to their feet as Vivaldo Aparecido kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arthur de Azevedo. That made the score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Sem Saída FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruy Paraibano to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vivaldo Aparecido to strike the kick off in the second half. Sem Saída FC's Arthur de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Branco in the 53rd minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Uirapuru's Vivaldo Aparecido nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arthur de Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. José Pedro Esteves's late challenge caught a Sem Saída FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Pedro Esteves helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute, José Pedro Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Uirapuru's Vivaldo Aparecido got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 76th minute Vivaldo Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arthur de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo Aparecido in the 77th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celsinho de Almeida during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A sloppy throw-in by Hudson Machado in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Uirapuru's Romário Donatello. Gilberto Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur de Azevedo having to interfere.
