Chico Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celsinho de Almeida in the 27th minute of the match. With a little luck, Clube Esportivo Pacheco's Chico Motta got control of the ball when Cesinha Urbano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Evandro Furlan took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chico Motta. Chico Motta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Sem Saída FC's Arthur de Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Sem Saída FC from getting a goal against them.
