Carlos Fernando Veiga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Bonifacio Maiorga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 played minutes Remansu got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Arruda. After having played for 59 minutes, Joel Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campinho F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Bueno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Bonifacio Maiorga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlos Fernando Veiga. That made the score 0-2 in the 61 minute of play.
