The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giuseppe Maia to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 73rd minute, Elano Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marquinhos Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Custódio in the 77th minute of play. Germano Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Marquinhos Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arlindo Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Clube Esportivo Pacheco's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Egídio Meireles was slow to take the kick. During this time Morore FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Egídio Meireles got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Chico Motta quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Clube Esportivo Pacheco's zone, Giuseppe Maia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chico Motta came out of the goal and Giuseppe Maia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giuseppe Maia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chico Motta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Chico Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Germano Custódio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marquinhos Gerber having to interfere. Morore FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Clube Esportivo Pacheco had controlled the match.
