Vicente Bezerras short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Vânderson Silveira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 17th minute of the match Ruy Pombal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marquinhos Gerber skillfully saved the ball. Vânderson Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Futebologia S.C's goal looked a bit too open when Giuseppe Maia came free, but Vânderson Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th match minute, Morore FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. When Abelardo Dracena, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 32 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Marquinhos Gerber was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Elano Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Egídio Meireles during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Morore FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! In the 36th minute there was a penalty for Futebologia S.C. Ruy Pombal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marquinhos Gerber. 0-1. 39 minutes into the match, Emanuel Moraes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marquinhos Gerber. Morore FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Moraes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Cauã Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vânderson Silveira having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giuseppe Maia to strike the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Moraes struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Marquinhos Gerber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Futebologia S.C. If Giuseppe Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cauã Medeiros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vânderson Silveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. If Abelardo Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But to his dismay, Cauã Medeiros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Abelardo Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Marquinhos Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 played minutes Morore FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu Netto. Morore FC's Giuseppe Maia got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cauã Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Abelardo Dracena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giuseppe Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
