In the 8th match minute, Iturama F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emerson Alvarenga to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the game, Matías Veloso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Filipe Salgado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
