In the 28th minute, Luís Eduardo Guerra fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eliseu Furtado, passed just outside the right post. Teodoro Guimarães scored 3-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliseu Furtado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luís Eduardo Guerra struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Eliseu Furtado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iturama F.C.. Filipe Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wellington Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

After a defensive mix-up in LAZIONAL's zone, Jean Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseu Furtado came out of the goal and Jean Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Eduardo Guerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eliseu Furtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Eduardo Guerra in the 60th minute of the match. Luís Eduardo Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Eliseu Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Furtado having to interfere. After 69 minutes, Luiz Eduardo Cabral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LAZIONAL and the Iturama F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luís Eduardo Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Furtado having to interfere. After 72 played minutes LAZIONAL got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Eduardo Cabral. Luiz Eduardo Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Iturama F.C.'s Jorge Moraes tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Luís Eduardo Guerra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Iturama F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Luiz Eduardo Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Filipe Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wellington Maia's late challenge caught a Iturama F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wellington Maia helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, LAZIONAL's Wellington Maia got a free kick in the 87th minute. Wellington Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Salgado having to interfere.
