The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eliseu Furtado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nildo Correia in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Teteus booed when LAZIONAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wellington Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabinho Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Furtado having to interfere. Eliseu Furtado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nildo Correia in the 29th minute of play. Kauã Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Nildo Correia struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Eliseu Furtado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Teteus. Eliseu Furtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nildo Correia in the 37th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabinho Souza got free with Eliseu Furtado in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luiz Eduardo Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. LAZIONAL's Eliseu Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nildo Correia in the 46th minute of play.

When Fabinho Souza came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Teteus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabinho Souza couldn't finish the play. Kauã Sousa got his second yellow card in the match during the 56th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Nildo Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teteus's supporters rose to their feet, but Nildo Correia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseu Furtado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Teteus fully deserved thier win.
