Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nildo Correia started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Linhares FC's Toninho Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nildo Correia in the 3rd minute of play. Donato Baiano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Carlo Cruz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Linhares FC booed when Teteus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deivid da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toninho Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabinho Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlo Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oswaldo Sena in the 12th minute of play. Fabinho Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Toninho Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Nildo Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oswaldo Sena got free with Carlo Cruz in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the match, Oswaldo Sena dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carlo Cruz, 1-0. Toninho Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nildo Correia in the 24th minute of the match. Donato Baianos short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Carlo Cruz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 31 minutes into the game, Donato Baiano lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Carlo Cruz. Donato Baiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Cruz having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Geraldo Braga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Nuno Leão came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Linhares FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Leão couldn't finish the play. Carlo Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Leão in the 42nd minute of play. Deivid da Silveira hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabinho Souza in the 48th minute of play forced Linhares FC's goalkeeper Toninho Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in 麦超翀 almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Linhares FC's Toninho Barros did a great save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Fabinho Souza got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thanks to some nice moves Fabinho Souza could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Toninho Barros however easily saved by the left post. Carlo Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Baiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute Donato Baiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlo Cruz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geraldo Braga's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Linhares FC's goalkeeper Toninho Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabinho Souza. In the 69thth minute of the game Oswaldo Sena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Teteus's Carlo Cruz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luizão Cosme hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, 麦超翀 sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Linhares FC's Toninho Barros didn't even have to move. Oswaldo Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute of the match, Fabinho Souza got a very nice opportunity to score, but Toninho Barros was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Fabinho Souza got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Linhares FC's Toninho Barros got control of the ball when Fabinho Souza tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Leão in the 87th minute of play forced Teteus's goalkeeper Carlo Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuno Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlo Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Baiano in the 92nd minute of play. There was no doubt that Linhares FC were the better team. Linhares FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
