Jaime de Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Gabriel Bertassi in the 29th minute of the match. After having played for 38 minutes, Fernando Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Phoenix FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Fernandes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaime de Sousa came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Campinhas FC's Tiago Gabriel Bertassi. But to his dismay, Tiago Gabriel Bertassi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiago Gabriel Bertassi was the one to do the kick off. Fernandinho Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Júlio Custódio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Phoenix FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 63 minutes into the game, Cesinha Mazza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Phoenix FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Campinhas FC the free kick. The supporters of Campinhas FC booed when Phoenix FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesinha Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime de Sousa made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Eliseu de Godoi sent off a good shot on target. Cesinha Mazza hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Yan de Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Adrianinho Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Custódio, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Phoenix FC's attentive Válter Prestes managed to snatch the ball when Giovani Moura made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. Jaime de Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Gabriel Bertassi in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Júlio Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime de Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
