With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiago Gabriel Bertassi in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Breno Velloso saved Chapecoense from getting behind. Breno Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Gabriel Bertassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Breno Velloso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiago Gabriel Bertassi's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute, Eliseu de Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Chapecoense getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Paulinho Prata hit a great ball. Fernandinho Luz hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The Chapecoense players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Campinhas FC were winning 0-2.

Campinhas FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Tiago Gabriel Bertassis short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Breno Velloso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tiago Gabriel Bertassi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Breno Velloso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Chapecoense fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Campinhas FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
