One of Ursae Majoris:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Águia Sport Club:s goal. Fausto Matorin had in the 21stth minute some difficulties stopping Gilmar Linares's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 21st minute, Gilmar Linares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Águia Sport Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. William Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Águia Sport Club's Antônio de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Nunes in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Ursae Majoris booed when Águia Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

53 minutes into the match, Ursae Majoris's Fernando Nunes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Antônio de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Favoretto in the 58th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, William Favoretto notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Águia Sport Club's Antônio de Medeiros. Antônio de Medeiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. William Favoretto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olavo Vargas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fausto Matorin came out and tried to block the shot, but Olavo Vargas slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 68th minute. Fausto Matorin made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Lenílson Albuquerque sent off a good shot on target. 75 minutes into the match, William Favoretto notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Águia Sport Club's Antônio de Medeiros. Antônio de Medeiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Fausto Matorin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fabinho das Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Águia Sport Club's Antônio de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Favoretto in the 94th minute of play. William Favoretto struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Antônio de Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ursae Majoris.
