Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Valério Barral made the kick off and thus started the match. Rapador AD's Valério Barral got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benjamim Capixaba made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Toninho Pires sent off a good shot on target. Ismael Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Valério Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Rapador AD booed when Itacima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enio Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valério Barral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Benjamim Capixaba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Itacima's Ismael Borges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Alves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 21st minute of the game, Enio Dracena landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 21 minutes into the game, Deivid Nunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rapador AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itacima the free kick. Itacima's André Luiz Coutinho was substituted for Enio Dracena. In the 22nd match minute, Rapador AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deivid Nunes to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Toninho Pires took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Benjamim Capixaba to make any attempt to save it. 27 minutes into the game, Rapador AD's Toninho Pires nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamim Capixaba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 31 played minutes Itacima got a freekick which was hit by Adilson Velloso. Ismael Borges struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Carlos Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itacima. Carlos Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Borges in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

With his leg Carlos Alves managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Itacima's Ismael Borges fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 54th minute Toninho Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Capixaba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Itacima's zone, Valério Barral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamim Capixaba came out of the goal and Valério Barral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Toninho Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Luiz Coutinho hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Toninho Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Rapador AD's Carlos Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Borges in the 65th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Toninho Pires made a precise shot to the right of Benjamim Capixaba. Itacima's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. If Ismael Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismael Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismael Borges got free with Carlos Alves in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes into the match, Itacima's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Pires came free, but Benjamim Capixaba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
