Dorival Brasil charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorival Brasil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th match minute, Gordo Feio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorival Brasil to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Prata spun around in front of the goal 14 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Gordo Feio FC's goal. If Dorival Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Luís Fernando Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geovanni Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fernando Moura in the 27th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Wilian Vasconcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Prata got free with Eriberto da Costa in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Fernando Moura in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geovanni Marquez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Dorival Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilmar Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto da Costa having to interfere. In the 79th minute Nilmar Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 81 minutes, Nilmar Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
