Dedê Palmeira came out of the goal and Umberto Vander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dedê Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Mineiro in the 93rd minute of play. Despite being the better team, Fortaleza EC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
