Jeferson Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cido Melo in the 20th minute of play. Dedê Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dênis Prado in the 23rd minute of the match. After having played for 26 minutes, Dênis Prado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Floripa Runners's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dênis Prado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Lenílson Barreto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Floripa Runners's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jeferson Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cido Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeferson Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandrinho Baptista in the 88th minute of play. Sandrinho Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute.
