In the 4th minute Edinho Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DiezicoFC's Geovanni Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Vianna in the 6th minute of play. Jano de Moraes charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jano de Moraes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th minute, Jano de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. DiezicoFC's Geovanni Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edinho Antunes in the 10th minute of play. A hard shot 12 in the game by Alfredo Prata from a close distance when the talented Erasmo Matorin managed to make a qualified save. E.C. SERRASUL's players were relieved. DiezicoFC's Geovanni Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Vianna in the 19th minute of play. After 21 minutes of play, DiezicoFC's Alfredo Prata made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erasmo Matorin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nilmar Freire who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Erasmo Matorin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alfredo Prata got in the 31st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Erasmo Matorin handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edinho Antunes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nilmar Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Erasmo Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Edinho Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tomás Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edinho Antunes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. E.C. SERRASUL's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 67th match minute, DiezicoFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilian Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Alfredo Prata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as E.C. SERRASUL's Edinho Antunes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Geovanni Marquez. That made the score 3-1 after 87 minutes of play. Alfredo Prata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to E.C. SERRASUL getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Kléberson Silva hit a great ball. Erasmo Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Prata in the 94th minute of the match. After 95 minutes, Vladimir Silveira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the E.C. SERRASUL and the DiezicoFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 95 played minutes E.C. SERRASUL got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Silveira. DiezicoFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
