The supporters of Tuive booed when Gordo Feio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademir Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gordo Feio FC's zone, Enrique Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto da Costa came out of the goal and Enrique Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Tuive booed when Gordo Feio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruninho Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Machado in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eriberto da Costa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute, Gordo Feio FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Acácio Sabóia fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gordo Feio FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Enrique Machado scored to the left of an out of position Eriberto da Costa, making the score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Enrique Machado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eriberto da Costa. That made the score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. When Luís Fernando Moura fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gordo Feio FC's protests and gave Luís Fernando Moura a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th match minute, Gordo Feio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fernando Moura to maneuver through the defense. Eriberto da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The nice shot from Acácio Sabóia in the 35thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Eriberto da Costa had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After a rather tough play, Gordo Feio FC's Cristóvão Souza got a free kick in the 47th minute. Acácio Sabóia succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 49th playminute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Fernando Moura to make the kick off. Enrique Machado struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Eriberto da Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tuive. In the 59th minute, Acácio Sabóia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tuive fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Acácio Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gordo Feio FC's Eriberto da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acácio Sabóia in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Enrique Machado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eriberto da Costa. Gordo Feio FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrique Machado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Bruninho Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Luís Fernando Moura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Tuive's Enrique Machado in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gordo Feio FC's goalie prevented a goal. 89 minutes into the game, Acácio Sabóia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Eriberto da Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 94th play minutes Enrique Machado shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Eriberto da Costa and just under the crossbar into goal. When Acácio Sabóia came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Tuive fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Acácio Sabóia couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tuive fully deserved thier win.
