Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edinho Antunes kicked off to start the match. Erasmo Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto da Fonseca in the 3rd minute of the match. Yan Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinho Antunes in the 8th minute of play. When Adalberto da Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arruda futebol clube's protests and gave Adalberto da Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of E.C. SERRASUL booed when Arruda futebol clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adalberto da Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, E.C. SERRASUL's Silvério Romero broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Yan Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinho Antunes in the 17th minute of the match. Tomás Vianna scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yan Mota, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. E.C. SERRASUL's Erasmo Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fernando Ortiz in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Vladimir Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erasmo Matorin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valério Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yan Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinho Antunes in the 32nd minute of play. In the 38th minute, Arruda futebol clube's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edinho Antunes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Valério Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valério Simões to make the kick off. Tomás Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the game, Tomás Vianna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Yan Mota was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tomás Vianna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yan Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Vianna in the 67th minute of play. E.C. SERRASUL's Tomás Vianna got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yan Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Vianna in the 77th minute of the match. Luís Fernando Ortiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edinho Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of E.C. SERRASUL booed when Arruda futebol clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleiton de Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball.
