Adrianinho Neto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 30th minute Ian Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianinho Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrianinho Neto having to interfere. If Yuri Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Adrianinho Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Guerra in the 51st minute of the match. With a little luck, Imortal Tricolor's Adrianinho Neto got control of the ball when Jairo Hermes tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ian Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edmílson Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Jairo Hermes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Adrianinho Neto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Imortal Tricolor's Fernando Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adrianinho Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrianinho Neto was a little too slow when Eliseu Saldanha got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 1-3. Yuri Goiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Anhuma supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Anhuma would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
