When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabrício Paulista made a kick off. Marcel Neto might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zé Pedro Rodrigues. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mário Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Neto in the 94th minute of play forced Universo Isca SC's goalkeeper Zé Pedro Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olavo Paulista hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Zé Pedro Rodrigues didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zé Pedro Saldanha went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Universo Isca SC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
