Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Imortal Tricolor's Yuri Goiano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Mário Souza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Universo Isca SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Adrianinho Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olavo Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Mário Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianinho Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrianinho Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrício Paulista in the 21st minute of the match. Zé Pedro Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute Felipe Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Pedro Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Yuri Goiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 38th minute, Edmílson Mota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felipe Moura blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Pedro Rodrigues having to make a save. Yuri Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Zé Pedro Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Mário Souza notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Imortal Tricolor's Adrianinho Neto. Adrianinho Neto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabrício Paulista made a kick off. Yuri Goiano took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Pedro Rodrigues. Zé Pedro Rodrigues dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. If Felipe Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Felipe Moura ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Pedro Rodrigues was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. The supporters of Universo Isca SC booed when Imortal Tricolor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yuri Goiano in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Pedro Rodrigues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Imortal Tricolor booed when Universo Isca SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Carlos Sanches didn't get a good kick on the ball. Imortal Tricolor's Yuri Goiano got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felipe Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Zé Pedro Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 99 minutes, Mário Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Universo Isca SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mário Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Imortal Tricolor players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
