If Wágner Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beto Cerezo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of José Maria Moura when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Basílio Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agronomos fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Basílio Perez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vágner Paiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute of the match Tomás Amaral shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vágner Paiva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ronaldo Fenomeno kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Wágner Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Wágner Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Moura having to interfere. Anísio Vides's late challenge caught a Orlando's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anísio Vides helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Agronomos fc getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Anísio Vides hit a great ball. Raimundo Vasconcelos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 68th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Agronomos fc's zone, Wágner Simão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Maria Moura came out of the goal and Wágner Simão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Maria Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beto Cerezo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Wágner Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronaldo Fenomeno hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Agronomos fc reached it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Orlando had won after a very even match.
