After 14 played minutes Nordeste Tech ES got a freekick which was hit by Kauã Vidal. The supporters of Universo Isca SC booed when Nordeste Tech ES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauã Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mário Souza scored 2-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alex Netto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute of the match, Fabrício Paulista tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alex Netto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mário Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Alex Netto made a huge save. Fabrício Paulista struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Alex Netto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Universo Isca SC. In the 45th minute, Universo Isca SC's Mário Souza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Souza in the 60th minute of play forced Nordeste Tech ES's goalkeeper Alex Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Pedro Rodrigues didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudinho Carvalho went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Alfredinho Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Zé Pedro Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nordeste Tech ES's Claudinho Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 79th minute, but Zé Pedro Rodrigues got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Universo Isca SC hanging dry this time. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Mário Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Universo Isca SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mário Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Netto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nordeste Tech ES's Claudinho Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
